Be Planted

Every Sunday I’ll encourage you to go to church! I’ll post this devotion each week because it’s essential for you to know:

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
— Psalm 92:13 (NKJV)

When you’re planted in a local church, you’ll flourish in every area of life. It’s not just about growing in wisdom and knowledge on Sunday mornings—it’s also about being surrounded by fellow believers who will encourage and strengthen you.

If you don’t have a church home, take time to visit churches in your area. Choose one that faithfully teaches and preaches straight from the Bible.

A key part of being planted is staying put. Church hopping keeps you from putting down roots. When God leads you to a church, remain there and come under the care of the shepherd He has placed over you.

And when the service is over, don’t let the Word stop there—go over your notes, reflect on what God spoke to you, and put it into action throughout the week. That’s how the Word takes root and produces fruit in your life.

So what are you waiting for? Go to church!
