Command Ye Me

“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”

Isaiah 45:11 KJV

What are you dealing with today? Are you filled with anxiety, depression, or fear?

The world is plagued with these things—and many Christians struggle with them as well. Why do you think that is? The Bible clearly tells us not to fear, not to live in depression, and not to be anxious.

In the verse above, God is telling us to declare and command His Word over our lives. Just like in Acts 3 when Peter commanded the lame man to get up—he didn’t ask, he spoke with authority.

The Bible tells us not to fear, yet many of us stay comfortable in our worries. The Bible tells us to have joy, yet many of us live in depression. The Bible tells us not to be anxious but to live in peace, yet many of us are anxious.

Application:

God is calling you to command His Word over your life. Don’t beg God for what He has already promised in Scripture. I encourage you to look up Bible verses that speak to your situation and declare the Word of God over your life. Don’t just ask God—command what He has already given as a gift through Jesus Christ. All you have to do is claim it by faith.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I thank You for today and for everything You have done. I come boldly before Your throne and I command fear, anxiety, and depression to leave me right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank You for the promises in Your Word and that You are still faithful to them today. I love You and I praise You. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
