Do Not Grow Weary

Scripture: Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Focus

Faithfulness matters, even when you cannot yet see the results.

Devotional

Doing the right thing can become exhausting when nothing seems to change.

You keep praying, but the answer has not come.

You keep serving, but no one seems to notice.

You keep obeying, but the fruit has not appeared.

In those moments, it can be tempting to believe that your faithfulness is being wasted.

But God sees every seed you plant.

He sees every quiet act of obedience, every prayer whispered in faith, every temptation resisted, and every time you choose love when it would be easier to walk away.

Paul reminds us that there is a harvest connected to faithfulness—but the harvest comes in God’s timing, not ours.

A farmer does not dig up the seed every day to see whether it is growing. He keeps watering, tending, and trusting the process.

The same is true spiritually.

You may not see what God is doing beneath the surface, but that does not mean nothing is happening.

Keep praying.

Keep obeying.

Keep loving.

Keep showing up.

Your responsibility is faithfulness. God is responsible for the results.

Reflection Question

Where have I become discouraged because I have not seen the results I expected?

Prayer

Father, strengthen me when I feel tired or discouraged. Help me remain faithful even when I cannot see the outcome. Teach me to trust Your timing and believe that no act of obedience is ever wasted.
