Questions:

• Who are the wicked, sinners, and mockers?

Answer: They are all who deliberately disobey God’s law and reject His ways (Proverbs 4:14–15; Romans 1:18–21).

• What is the Law of the Lord?

Answer: The commands and instructions given by God in the Scriptures, guiding His people in righteousness (Joshua 1:8; 2 Timothy 3:16–17).

Truths

• The people you surround yourself with will influence who you become (1 Corinthians 15:33).
• The counsel of the ungodly will eventually lead you away from God (Proverbs 13:20).

 
Application

Pay attention to who you’re hanging out with and who you’re listening to on a daily basis. Ask yourself:

• What social media influencers should I stop listening to?
• What friends should I distance myself from?
• How can I guard my heart so I can become more like Christ? (Proverbs 4:23).

Prayer

God, thank You for today. I’m grateful for the life You have given me. I ask for Your wisdom to know who I should spend time with and who I should listen to. Help me to delight in Your Word and meditate on it day and night. Cover me with Your knowledge and understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
