God Is With You in the Waiting
Share
Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”
Focus
You are never waiting alone when God is with you.
Devotional
Waiting can make us feel forgotten.
You may be waiting for an answer, a breakthrough, direction, healing, or a door to open. And when nothing seems to change, discouragement can begin to grow.
But God gives us something even greater than immediate answers:
His presence.
He says, “I am with you.”
That means your confidence does not have to come from knowing when the situation will change. It can come from knowing who is beside you while you wait.
God promises to strengthen you.
He promises to help you.
He promises to uphold you.
Sometimes the miracle is not that the waiting ends quickly.
Sometimes the miracle is that God gives you enough strength to remain faithful while you wait.
Do not measure God’s faithfulness only by how fast your circumstances change.
Look for His presence in the middle of them.
He is still near.
He is still working.
He is still God.
Reflection Question
What am I waiting for right now, and how can I trust God’s presence in the middle of it?
Prayer
Father, help me trust You when I do not know how long I will have to wait. Remind me that You are with me, strengthening me and helping me. Keep my heart faithful and my eyes fixed on You.
