God Is Your Strength

Scripture: Isaiah 40:29 (NLT)

“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”

Focus

God meets us where our strength runs out.

Devotional

There are seasons when you feel tired in more than just your body.

Mentally tired.

Emotionally tired.

Spiritually tired.

You may still be showing up, but inside you feel drained.

Isaiah gives us a simple promise:

God gives strength to the weak.

Notice who receives the strength.

Not the person pretending to have it all together.

The weak.

The powerless.

The person who knows, “I cannot do this on my own.”

That is often where dependence on God becomes real.

We naturally want enough strength to handle everything ourselves. But God sometimes allows us to reach the end of ourselves so we can discover the beginning of His strength.

You do not have to manufacture spiritual strength.

You can receive it.

Bring your exhaustion to Him.

Bring your weakness to Him.

Bring the areas where you feel like you have nothing left.

God is not ashamed of your weakness.

He is able to meet you there.

Reflection Question

Where in my life do I need to stop pretending I am strong and start depending on God’s strength?

Prayer

“Father, I need Your strength today. Meet me in the places where I feel weak, tired, and overwhelmed. Help me rely on Your power instead of my own and give me what I need to remain faithful.”

Key Truth

Your weakness is not the end of the story when God is your strength.
