God’s Grace Is Enough

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)

“Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’”

Focus

You do not have to be strong enough when God’s grace is sufficient.

Devotional

We often think God can use us best when we feel strong, confident, and capable.

But Scripture shows us something different.

Paul asked God to remove a weakness from his life. Instead of removing it, God told him:

“My grace is all you need.”

Sometimes God changes the situation.ll

Other times, He changes us in the middle of the situation.

Weakness has a way of exposing how dependent we really are on God. It reminds us that our strength has limits, but His does not.

That is not failure.

That is dependence.

When you feel inadequate, tired, or overwhelmed, you do not have to pretend to be stronger than you are.

You can come honestly before God and say:

“Lord, I need You.”

And that is exactly where His power can become most visible.

God does not need you to have everything together before He can work through you.

He wants a surrendered heart.

Your weakness may be the very place where His strength becomes clearest.

Reflection Question

What weakness am I trying to hide instead of surrendering to God?

Prayer

Father, thank You that Your grace is enough for me. When I feel weak, help me depend on Your strength instead of my own. Use even my limitations to reveal Your power and bring You glory.
