Scripture: Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Focus: You are God’s workmanship, not a mistake.

Devotional:
Many people look in the mirror and see flaws, failures, and shortcomings. God sees something entirely different. He sees His workmanship—His masterpiece.

The Greek word translated “handiwork” (or “workmanship”) refers to something carefully crafted by an artist. God did not mass-produce you. He intentionally designed you with gifts, talents, experiences, and a purpose that no one else can fulfill exactly the way you can.

Your identity is not found in what you lack but in whose you are.

Not only did God create you, but He also prepared good works for you before you were born. You don’t have to spend your life trying to create meaning for yourself. God has already given your life meaning.

The question is not, “Do I have a purpose?”

The question is, “Am I walking in the purpose God has already prepared for me?”

Reflection Question:
Do I see myself as God’s workmanship, or do I spend more time focusing on my imperfections?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and intention. Help me see myself the way You see me and walk confidently in the good works You have prepared for me.
