Search My Heart, O God
Share
“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.”
Psalm 139:1–3 (NIV)
Search me, O God, and know my ways (Psalm 139:23–24).
Show me anything in me that is not Christlike (2 Corinthians 3:18). Expose any lies I’ve believed (John 8:32). Reveal any sins I’ve tolerated (Psalm 19:12–13; 1 John 1:9). Lord, make me into a person who mirrors Your reflection (Romans 8:29).
God wants to help you in your walk with Him (Psalm 32:8). All you have to do is ask (James 1:5). Ask for the wisdom and knowledge He has about you—because He knows far more about you than you know about yourself (Jeremiah 17:10; Hebrews 4:13).
So invite Him in. Let Him reveal the things that will shape you into His image (Philippians 1:6). Dive deep! I promise you, He won’t disappoint (Psalm 34:8).
Love you guys!
