“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.”

Ephesians 1:3–4 (NLT)

This series will walk through the seven spiritual blessings found in Ephesians 1.

Today we begin with the first two:

Spiritual Blessings (because we are united with Christ)

• Chosen by God

• Made holy and blameless in His sight

Truths:

The God who created the universe chose you. Your life is not an accident.

Everyone who puts their faith in Jesus Christ and His Word is seen by God as holy and blameless.

Through His grace, we can live lives that truly please Him.

Application:

Walk like someone God has chosen.

You were not chosen to stay trapped in sin, despair, or anxiety.

You were chosen to live in the holiness that is found only in Christ.

Prayer:

God, thank You for today and for everything You have done. Help me grasp more deeply that You have chosen me. Guide me to live a life that is holy and pleasing to You. I love You and I praise You. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
