Truths

God loves me and you. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. He gave His one and only Son so that everyone has a chance to be saved.

God seriously doesn’t want anyone to perish. For example, that person you may know who hates God—God still loves that person and still gives them the opportunity to be saved.

When Jesus died on the cross, He was giving a gift to humanity—the gift of everlasting life. It’s not something we can work for; it’s based entirely on what He did on the cross.

This opportunity to believe in Jesus is such a powerful gift. Not only does it bring us salvation, but it also transforms us to become more like Jesus. When we believe, God begins to change our desires through the Holy Spirit.

Application:

Say “Yes” to Jesus today—and every day in the future. Start reading the Bible and fall in love with it. I promise your life will look different. You’ll look in the mirror and see Jesus—metaphorically, of course.

Prayer:

Thank You, God, for today. I praise You for who You are and for the love You pour out on me. Help me to say “yes” to You every day for the rest of my life. God, I love You and I praise You.
