What Are You Focused On?

Scripture: Luke 10:38–39

“Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.”

Jesus enters Martha’s home, and immediately two postures emerge. One sister is busy. The other is still. Neither is sinful—but only one is centered.

Mary chooses proximity over productivity. She recognizes that being with Jesus matters more than doing for Jesus. Her focus isn’t on what needs to be done, but on who is present.

Reflection:

What has your attention right now—tasks, expectations, responsibilities, or Jesus Himself?
