Scripture: Luke 10:40

“Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself?”

Martha’s frustration spills out—and notice who she questions. “Lord, don’t you care?”
Busyness has a way of distorting our view of God. When we measure our worth by output, we start believing that rest means irresponsibility.

Like Martha, we often choose what looks productive in the natural—planning, preparing, performing—while prayer and listening feel inefficient.
