Scripture: Luke 10:42

“But few things are needed—or indeed only one.”

Mary understood something Martha missed: only one thing is truly necessary. Not perfection. Not performance. Presence.

Sitting at Jesus’ feet means:

• We pray
• We read
• We listen

This posture can’t be taken from us. Ministry may change. Platforms may fade. Seasons shift. But intimacy with Jesus endures.

Reflection:

What would it look like today to choose the “one thing” over the many things?

Prayer:

Jesus, I choose what is better. Teach me to sit at Your feet and remain there.
